Big Two "vs. All Three" Settlement Rule
In Big Two (鋤大弟 / Choh Dai Dee), when using the "vs. all three" scoring rule, each player's cumulative leftover cards (accumulated across multiple rounds) are compared against all other players individually to determine final settlement.
Calculation Algorithm:
- Pairwise Comparison: Each player is compared with every other player (6 total comparisons for 4 players)
- Payment Rule: If Player X has more leftover cards than Player Y, Player X pays Player Y the difference multiplied by the stake
- Net Amount: Each player's net amount is the sum of all payments received minus all payments made
- Conservation: The sum of all net amounts always equals zero (what some pay, others receive)
Example:
If the stake is 1 HKD per card and the cumulative leftover cards are: A=40, B=30, C=20, D=10
- A vs B: A has 10 more → A pays B: 10
- A vs C: A has 20 more → A pays C: 20
- A vs D: A has 30 more → A pays D: 30
- B vs C: B has 10 more → B pays C: 10
- B vs D: B has 20 more → B pays D: 20
- C vs D: C has 10 more → C pays D: 10
Final Settlement:
- A: -60 (pays 60)
- B: -20 (pays 20)
- C: +20 (receives 20)
- D: +60 (receives 60)
Features:
- Mathematically accurate calculations
- Supports decimal stakes (e.g., 0.5, 2.5)
- Color-coded results (green = receives, red = pays)
